Hosea: Relentless Pursuit

Some stories break your heart. Some stories heal it. Hosea does both.

We've started a new sermon series in the book of Hosea. This series is for the those who feel like they’ve gone too far, messed up too much, or been hurt too deeply. It’s for those who feel abandoned, overlooked, or told they’re unworthy. It’s for the ones who have run from God or been run off by God’s people. It’s for those who feel too broken to be loved.

It’s a series about a God who doesn’t give up on you. He pursues you even when you've given up on yourself.

The Story You Didn’t Expect to Need

The story of Hosea starts with heartbreak. A faithful man, a broken marriage, and a painful betrayal. But it’s not just about them. God called Hosea to the difficult task of a relationship that mirrored God's relationship with Israel. But it wasn't just about them.

It’s also about you.

Because Hosea’s story is your story when you feel unlovable. It’s your story when you’re stuck in shame. It’s your story when you’ve been hurt and don’t think you’ll ever heal. It's your story when you've messed up so bad that you think God could never want you.

And the tells us just how wrong we can be. Because God it’s shows us just how relentless God loves, even when we’re at our worst.

God Pursues the Broken

What if God hasn’t given up on you? What if your failure didn’t destroy his plan for you? What if all the places you thought made you unlovable are exactly where God wants to bring you healing? This is a story about healing in desert places. About being pursued when you don’t even like yourself.

God doesn’t wait for you to get it together. He steps into your mess. He meets you in the pain. And He stays. Not because you’ve earned it but because He’s just that big, that full of grace, and that invested in your success.

This Is Your Invitation

If you’re broken, come find healing. If you’re weary, come find rest. If you’re lost, come find the One who’s been pursuing you all along. God pursues you relentlessly, even when you can’t love yourself.

Come join us. Come find hope. Come experience the God who still wants you.
