Make It Count
Introduction
Time keeps ticking. Days pass. Life fills up, and before you know it, you’re asking, “Where did it all go?” That’s exactly why Paul’s words in Ephesians 5:15–21 hit so hard. In this week’s Thrive Together message, we leaned into the challenge: Are you using your time well?
If not… it’s time to wake up, choose a better influence, and worship together like it matters.

Study Questions
1. What’s one thing you tend to rush through during your week that, if you slow down, could actually make a big difference in your day?
2. Read Ephesians 5:15–16. Why do you think Paul uses the imagery of “walking carefully” for the Christian life in a city like Ephesus? What are some “tricky paths” Christians face today?
3. Read Romans 12:2. How does this connect to Ephesians 5:17–18? What kinds of influences or pressures in our culture try to “conform” us? What does it look like in real life to renew your mind and follow God’s will instead?
4. Last week, Pastor Keven said, "You may think what the world has to offer is fun and fulfilling, but it's just cheap chocolate." In our culture, what are the “cheap chocolates” (influences, habits, escapes) that promise satisfaction but actually distract from God’s best?
5. Read Ephesians 5:19–21. Why do you think Paul puts so much emphasis on worshiping, giving thanks, and submitting together? How does participating in worship and committing to community change your spiritual walk?
6. What’s one commitment or small step you could make this week to strengthen your connection with God and with other believers? What's holding you back? Be honest.
7. CALL TO ACTION: Memorize Romans 12:2. Talk with someone about the influences around you that you still struggle with. Make a commitment this week to engage better with your church family.
