Come and See

A New Series Through the Gospel of John

Something is happening in Galilee. Word is spreading.

That's how it started. There were no fights. No rebellion. No gathering of armies. Just whispers. Just one person grabbing another by the arm and saying, "You have to come see."

The opening chapters of the Gospel of John paint the picture of a quiet movement that spread like fire. There's a gathering feeling, like the moment before a storm when the air changes and everything goes quiet and you just know...something is coming. Something is about to change.

A voice cries out in the wilderness and crowds gather to listen.

A religious leader sneaks out at night for answers.

A woman with a broken past finds something she can't wait to share.

These are ordinary people, living ordinary lives. They're curious, skeptical, wounded, and searching. But they all stumble into an encounter they weren't fully prepared for.

And none of them walk away the same.

That's what this series is about.

Come and See is an invitation to experience the Gospel of John the way the first disciples and the crowds of Galilee did. This wasn't about theological arguments or lofty aspirations, but an encounter for which they didn't know they craved. In these early chapters, Jesus isn't announcing himself with revolution. He's meeting people right where they are. At a wedding. In the dark. At a well in the heat of the day.

He has a way of showing up in our most ordinary moments and changing our lives in the ways we most desperately need. He sees us. He knows us. And He loves us back into a relationship with God.

Maybe you've been curious about Jesus but weren't sure where to start. Maybe you grew up in church and somewhere along the way the wonder wore off. Maybe you're not sure what you believe, but something brought you here to read this.

You can start here. The wonder is still real. It's not a coincidence. You don't need all the answers. You just need to be willing to come and see. Will you?

Come and See launches March 1, 2026 as we begin our journey through the Gospel of John.
